Backup CDP

BlueiTech decided to use a system backup and disaster recovery technology-based CDP (Continuous Data Protection) which allows you to create disk images incremental remote, restorable at any time. With the CDP backup system can perform continuous backups of your dedicated server on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and with the ability to create several restore points. In case of serious damage to the system can completely reinstall the server or perform a partial restore files.

The process of data protection is fully automated and managed from a control panel simple and intuitive. The system will connect to your server at predetermined intervals analyzing sectors.
At each step will create a restore point that you can use to restore the data, either partially or for the 'entire server. Restore points (Recovery Point) are nothing but copies of the sectors changed since the last backup. This procedure allows you to create new restore points in a short time even in environments consist of terabytes of data.
The system will also perform a data compression, to safeguard additional space and a verification of their integrity through md5. The data will also be transferred through a Gigabit internal network to which your servers and storage servers are connected, thus ensuring the maximum safety while avoiding conflict with the activities of the public network. This process does not introduce any overhead and requires a very low memory usage, about 6MB each 100GB of data.
The space needed to accommodate one backup and recovery point 7 daily is about 60% of the disk space used by the server.

Continuous Data Protection® Technology
Backup server data at the block level bypassing the file system and reading data directly from the disk or volume. Block level backup provides advantages over traditional file backup technologies including the speed of completing a backup operation, a drastic reduction in disk and network I/O, the ability to perform backups as often as every 15 minutes and no performance penalty for servers having a large number of files.

Disk Safe Verification
Monitors your data to make sure it’s safe from corruption. Disk Safe Verification can be scheduled to run periodically or on demand detecting and alerting you in the event of corruption. This reduces the need for test restores, and gives you confidence in the integrity and restore-ability of your data.

AES-256 Disk Safe Encryption can be enabled at the time of creation of Disk Safes for backup data. This aids in the protection of data stored in the backup server, and in protection of the data over the network.

Powerful File Excludes
Browse file system and select any combination of files and folders to be excluded from your policy. Add advanced rules and exclude rules using patterns to exclude only certain file types.
